Lois Herrick’s impressive body of clay sculptures includes an animal world populated by a chorus line of chickens, a cow pumping iron in a gym, a bear ready for the beach, and a chicken about town with eggs on her head, among many others. Her primitive people question our often obsessive high technology world, but also remind us of the simple, human but raw emotions in us all: Mother's Love, Dirty Dancing, Pygmy in the city, Amore, Dance Fever, In the Moment, American Techno.

If Art is a way to embrace, question and celebrate life, no one leads that celebration with such wit and creativity as Herrick. Visually impaired but artistically blessed, her works have been bought and enjoyed by Palm Beach collectors for years; now in this online gallery, Lois Herrick has assembled some of her favorite sculptures and paintings for us all to enjoy. Celebrate.

The sculptures range in size from 20" x 7" to life size.
